The upcoming Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 has gone online through a leak. Its design easily reminds us of that of Apple’s iPad Pro. According to a recent report, the Xiaomi tablet would arrive with MIUI 12.5 from the first second. The good news is that a leaked image of the Mi Pad 5 was recently released. In this photo, the tablet looks a lot like the iPad Pro. Want to know more? Well then stay on the web and discover all the details of the news.
The photo of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 was leaked by user @WHYLAB on Weibo. We can appreciate the rear design with a glossy finish, a square camera module similar to Apple’s, and even the logo of the Chinese brand. You can also see that it would be a very thin tablet. If so, we would be facing a tablet that is aimed at the premium segment of Android, so we would not be expecting low prices or basic specifications.
In addition, the digital blogger “Digital Chat Station” also said that the rear lens design of the device is similar to the Xiaomi Mi 11, and the frame control is similar to that of the Huawei Matepad 11. It uses four speakers with good sound effects and the whole tablet is very slim.
In another post, he also mentioned that he is sure that this tablet and the future Mi Mix 4 will arrive with MIUI 12.5 from day one, so we would not see MIUI 13 yet despite being the new flagship equipment. But once again, it is just a rumor, the reality could be different.
Keep in mind, it’s just a leak, so let’s not take this too seriously. Xiaomi’s actual tablet could be similar, but not the same. At the end of the day, we also have to know what its specifications are to know if it will really measure up to Apple.
