Xiaomi is going to start selling devices in Spain, and sooner than you think!
Xiaomi has, for long period of time, sold its devices exclusively in its home territories, but over the past few years, the company has extended its reach. It currently markets devices in China, but also India, Southeast Asia, Mexico, the Middle East, South Korea, Egypt, Poland, Ukraine, and Mexico. Now Xiaomi is looking to enter Western Europe, starting with Spain. This is likely to be exciting news for many of our readers, and comes as the next logical step for a company as ambitious as Xiaomi.
Twitter Ads info and privacy Wang Xiang, the Senior Vice President at Xiaomi, recently announced on Twitter that the company would host a launch event on November 7 -To announce the products that they plan to bring over to begin with.
“So proud to announce today a milestone in
@xiaomi‘s global journey: we’ve officially entered Spain, our first entry into Western Europe!”
As this is an initial testing phase, it may take time for the firm’s full suite of products to reach our shores. The Western Europe smartphone market is largely dominated by Samsung, so it could be interesting to see Xiaomi change things up. And perhaps, one day, the company will even make it to the United States.
