Huawei’s Watch GT Elegant Edition found its spot on the Chinese online retailer JD.com. The watch is listed for a price of 1,288 Yuan, which roughly converts to $191. This pricing is cheaper than the €229 pricing in Europe.
Specifications
The smartwatch comes with a smaller 42mm ceramic bezel option. A 1.2-inch AMOLED HD color touchscreen offers a resolution of 390 x 390 pixels.
According to the company, the watch comes with a dual-chipset and a smart power-saving architecture. The intuitive architecture enables it to switch between performance and efficiency modes depending on an individual’s activity to maximize battery life.
Triathlon mode
The Elegant Edition of the Huawei Watch GT features a Triathlon mode which supports three types of workout. The types included are:
- Open water swimming,
- Outdoor cycling, and
- Outdoor running.
The smartwatch can record the entire triathlon, including the transition time.
TruSeen 3.0
Huawei’s Watch GT also comes with Huawei TruSeen 3.0 heart rate monitoring. The new TruSeen 3.0 supports continuous 24-hours heart rate monitoring tracking active and resting heart rates. The combination of TruSeen with innovative PPG optical and hardware design and AI algorithms can monitor the heart rate of users in real time with high precision.
The smartwatch comes with a smaller battery capacity which lasts up to one week on a single charge, unlike the 46mm model which has 2-week battery life.
