Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has launched a new mid-range device in china under its Y-series — Vivo Y53s. This smartphone has a dual-rear camera setup with a massive 5000mAh battery, 8.5mm body thickness and there are three optional colors: iridescent, sea salt, and starry night.
Coming to the specifications, the front of Vivo Y53s is designed with a waterdrop screen. It is equipped with a 6.58-inch LCD screen with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate (the highest touch sampling rate is 180Hz).
In terms of hardware configuration, Vivo Y53s is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC (8nm, Kryo 460 architecture, 2×2.0GHz class A76, 6×1.8GHz class A55, Adreno 619 GPU), paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB flash storage.
As for the photo, it has a dual-camera setup, There’s a 64MP main camera on the back with a macro sensor. On the front, the device is equipped with an 8MP camera for taking photos and recording videos.
The whole package is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports an 18W fast charge, has a Type-C interface, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device is pre-installed with OriginOS like most of the current new machines from Blue Factory.
Vivo Y53s 8+128GB variant is priced at 1699 yuan (around $265) and is currently in a pre-sale status. This product as a whole is similar in configuration to the previous Vivo Y31s and iQOO U3x (the difference may be that the main camera is upgraded to 64MP), and it is probably a short-term model.
