Last year, the Vivo S7 smartphone was released in August, which is powered by the Snapdragon 765G processor. But, today the famous Chinese leakster “Digital Chat Station” has shared a piece of information about the upcoming Smartphone, which may be called Vivo S7t.
According to the source, the new Vivo S7t will launch soon and it replacing the processor from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G with the MediaTek Dimensity 820. There are no other changes. On the other hand, currently the Vivo S7 available in three colors: Monet, Jazz Black, and Moonlight White, and two versions 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB.
The Dimensity 820 is a fast mid-range SoC with an integrated 5G modem, which was released last May. It includes four fast ARM Cortex-A76 cores at up to 2.6 GHz and four power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores at up to 2 GHz (Octa-Core with Heterogeneous Multi-Processing).
Furthermore, the chip integrates a 5 core ARM Mali-G57 MC5 GPU, a Wi-fi 5 modem, an LPDDR4x memory controller, an AI processing unit (APU 3.0), and video de- and encoding. The Dimensity 820 is manufactured in the modern 7nm process and should be very power efficient. four 2.6GHz A76 cores and four A55 cores.
The spokesman said that Dimensity 820’s single-core score increased by 7% compared to the Qualcomm 765G, the multi-core score increased by 37%, while Antutu’s score exceeded 410,000 points.
