Exynos 1080, first chipset based on the 5nm process, will be formally unveiled on 12 November, per industry insider Ice Universe.
We got a brief introduction to the last month when Samsung’s Dr. Pan Xuebao first talked about it.
The Exynos 1080 will apparently succeed the Exynos 980 which powers mid-tier phones like the Galaxy A71 5G and Galaxy A51 5G. The chip will apparently have as its primary core and it is also expected to feature the Mali G78 GPU, both of which are considerable improvements when compared to the Exynos 980.
