Teclast, a secondary brand from China has announced a brand new tablet, with a price below $300. It’s the Teclast T60 model, that will be sold on Amazon soon and comes with a large 12 inch IPS display, at 2000 x 1200 pixels.
Teclast T60 has been announced for now, not launched and it’s a large 12 inch screen device. It measures 279 x 174 x 7.7 mm and weighs 570 grams. There’s a 5 megapixel front camera here, integrated within one of the horizontal bezels. We also get a 13 megapixel back camera with a secondary mystery lens.
The screen panel is of the IPS variety and offers a 2000 x 1200 pixel resolution. The lack of Widevine L1 certification means that the slate can only stream DRM-protectd content from Amazon and Netflix in 720p. We also get an 8000 mAh battery inside, plus 8 GB of RAM and an Unisoc Tiger T161 processor. We also get 256 GB of expandable storage and dual SIM card slots.
The price is listed on the Teclast site as $269. It’s only available in grey.
