Igeekphone on October 4 news, Samsung released a new generation of FE (Fans Edition) series of new products this morning, bringing two Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE/FE+ tablet computers.
The two new tablets retain some of the flagship features of the Galaxy Tab S9, but reduce some of the experience, which brings the price down.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE has a 10.9-inch display, while the Tab S9 FE+ comes with a larger 12.4-inch screen. Both tablets have an automatic refresh rate of 90Hz. Enhanced outdoor visibility with Vision Booster.
The Galaxy Tab S9 FE series is available in mint green, silver, grey and lavender and is made from recycled materials. Both tablets feature recycled aluminum and recycled plastic in their components, and the Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+, as well as the complimentary S Pen, are IP68 rated.
In terms of images, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE has an 8 MP rear camera and a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle front camera. Meanwhile, the Tab S9 FE+ has a new 8MP ultra-wide-angle rear camera.
The Tab S9 FE+ comes with a 10090mAh battery that boasts 20 hours of video playback on a single charge. In comparison, the Tab S9 FE has a slightly smaller 8,000mah battery.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE series is equipped with the Exynos 1380 chipset, while the original is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, so the performance is reduced. Storage options for the Tab S9 FE include 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB, while the Tab S9 FE+ offers 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB, with the option to expand up to 1TB using a microSD card.
In terms of connectivity, the two tablets have an optional 5G network. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE series comes preloaded with Android 13, promising four generations of operating system upgrades and five years of security updates.
The Galaxy Tab S9 FE series starts at €529, but prices and availability vary by region and country.
