Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 has leaked a bunch of times so far and the Galaxy Tab A9+ too, but today is finally the launch day. Galaxy Tab A9 has become official and it has been released without much fuss, by basically just appearing on the Samsung Guatemala website and on Amazon UAE.
Some of the press materials also talk about the Galaxy Tab A9+, but without revealing the complete specs list and pricing. We do know quite a few things about the Galaxy Tab A9. It features an 8.7 inch IPS LCD display with a 1340 x 800 pixel resolution. A previous Google Play Console listing also confirmed that it’s equipped with a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, together with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.
You can expand that storage via a microSD card slot. The Amazon UAE listing confirms that the Tab A9 and Tab A9+ also feature up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Tab A9+ is said to feature an 11 inch LCD display with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, a Snapdragon 695 processor and 4 or 8 GB of RAM, as well as up to 128 GB of storage and optional 5G support.
Both new tablets run on Android 13 with One UI 5.1 on top. Sadly we have zero info about the cameras or battery capacities for either of the two slates. Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 4G is priced at $190 on Amazon UAE and $191 on Samsung Guatemala. Pricing and availability for more regions will appear in the following days.
