Samsung’s upcoming tablet is definitely the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, which has been leaking weekly for a while now. Today we’re treated to two major leaks: the device’s user manual has popped up online and its specs list has appeared on the Google Play Console. We have a gander at them below.
First of all, courtesy of Androidu.ro we get to see sketches and the manual of the device. A support page for the slate was already published on Samsung’s website as early as April 2021. The manual has now appeared in the device maker’s download center. We’re dealing here with a budget tablet, with a singular back and front camera, an USB-C port at the bottom and side keys, plus a SIM card slot. Its bezels are quite thick, but this was to be expected. We see that 3 models are mentioned in the documents: SM-T220, SM-T225 and SM-T227, with WiFi or LTE.
The device is expected to debut next month, in June, perhaps during a new Unpacked event. Then we have the specs listing, from Google Play Console, showing the Tab A7 Lite coming in WiFi or LTE versions. The specs include a MediaTek Helio P22T chipset, together with 3 GB of RAM, plus a 1340 x 800 pixel resolution screen. There’s no mention of the diagonal, but we expected something in the range of 8.4 and 8.7 inches. The tablet should have a 5100 mAh battery, charging at 15W and also it should boot Android 11.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is expected to come in black and silver colors.
