Samsung debuted a few tablets this summer, but the focus was on the Tab S7 models and less on the cheaper Tab A7. Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 has just reached the USA, priced at just $229. It’s a 10.4 inch Android tablet with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, 3 GB of RAM and quad speakers.
The device was announced in September and it’s now available on Amazon, Best Buy and Samsung’s own site. The starting price is the one mentioned above, but there’s also a version with 64 GB of storage priced at $280. Then there’s a microSD card slot for extra storage. The slate is available in 3 color options: dark grey, silver and gold. You can also purchase an optional Tab A7 Book Cover for $50. Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 uses an IPS LCD display with a 2000 x 1200 pixel resolution, offers Android 10 as the OS, with One UI 2.5 on top.
On the camera front there’s an 8 MP back shooter and upfront a 5 MP cam. Then there’s a generous 7040 mAh battery, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0 and if you’re lucky you can also buy a 4G LTE version of the device. It even has face unlock and it measures 0.28 inches in thickness (7 mm). Dolby Atmos is also on offer here and Fast Chargint technology. There’s an Audio Hotspot feature and also a Media Panel to control video. The Silver color version is an Amazon exclusive, by the way.
