Budget phones provide you state-of-the-art and updated specifications at exceedingly affordable rates. Recently, Samsung did announce a couple of devices in its Galaxy A series. The new inclusions in the series are dubbed as the Galaxy A40s and the Galaxy A60 in China. The devices were launched alongside the A70 and the A80 that were announced globally.
While the Samsung Galaxy A40s and the Galaxy A60 are identical at the back, they feature different display designs. The A40s has equipped with an Infinity-U display and the A60 sports an Infinity-O display. Both the devices feature a rear-mounted oval fingerprint sensor. A post on Weibo has revealed the pricing of the two Galaxy devices.
Samsung Galaxy A40s specifications
The budget Samsung Galaxy A40s uses Android 9.0 Pie. The phone comes with a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution Super AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9.
Samsung Galaxy A40s contains an Octa-core Exynos 7904 SoC coupled with Mali-G71 MP2. While the device features 6GB RAM and 64GB of expandable internal storage.
The camera department of the Samsung Galaxy A40s features a triple rear camera setup. The cameras consist of a 13-megapixel primary camera with f/1.9 aperture, phase detection auto-focus, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture. Whereas, the device contains a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The Samsung Galaxy A60 runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. It features a 6.3-inch full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution Super AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. As mentioned earlier, the device features an Infinity-O display.
Samsung Galaxy A60 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC coupled with an Adreno 612 GPU. In terms of memory, the device has been launched with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 512GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
Coming to the optics, the Samsung Galaxy A60 features a triple camera set up at the back consisting a 32-megapixel primary camera with phase detection autofocus, 0.8µm pixel size, f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, phase detection autofocus, 1.12µm pixel size and a 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture. On the front, the device sports a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Pricing and availability
The prices of Samsung A40s and the Samsung A60 are at CNY 1,499 (Rs 15,510 approx.) and the Samsung A60 has been priced at CNY 1,999 (Rs 20,580 approx.). At the moment, there is no information about the device’s availability in China and the company has not revealed when the devices will arrive in India.
