Redmi K40 Gaming Edition Received Support For Google Apps and Services

Redmi, which began selling the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition smartphone in late April, immediately announced that it surpassed 100,000 units in one minute. Now the Redmi has kicked off the release of a new update for Redmi K40 Gaming Edition: this is the build, which has a “weight” of 161MB and brings with it a piece of important news.

According to the changelog, in fact, this update introduces support for the Google Play Services framework and this means that those who buy the smartphone in China can install the Google Mobile Services. The update in question also optimizes the touch experience.

Dimensity 1200 comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of flash storage. The smartphone is equipped with a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 5065mAh, which supports fast charging with a capacity of 67 watts.

The smartphone is equipped with JBL stereo speakers and a 64MP camera, an excellent cooling system, and mechanical gaming buttons. Redmi K40 Gaming Edition positions itself as the most affordable gaming smartphone with a starting price of $310.
