Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will debut: with self-developed Oryon core

On February 29, Don McGuire, senior vice president and chief marketing officer of Qualcomm, attended the MWC 2024 exhibition and announced that the Snapdragon Summit will be held in October 2024, when the company will release its flagship product Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC.

In the video, Mokdong encourages consumers to embrace AI, saying that AI will not replace humans in the short term, but will act as a sixth sense/second brain.

As previously reported by Igeekphone, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip will use a customized “Phoenix” core, using a “2+6” cluster design scheme and Slice GPU architecture.

It is reported that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will adopt the design idea of Mediatek Tianguet 9300 chip, all composed of the performance core, and the clock frequency of the early news reached 4.00 GHz.
