OUKITEL announced last week that they are working on a new smartphone, the OUKITEL U16 Max, which is going to be the most important project of OUKITEL this year. This is their first 6-inch smartphone and it was chosen by Aliexpress official to do the first flash sale. We got the latest known information about the model here.
We already know that the new U16 Max will get a big 6.0 inch HD display with a JDI screen from Japan, for the back it will use aluminum metal alloy.It’s CNC milled body is polished and should look elegant and feel nice.The frame is cut to be narrower so it looks more slim. On the top back lays the rear camera,LED flash and fingerprint scanner. The rear camera is a Micron AR1335 13MP camera, together with the 5MP front facing OV GC5005 camera to offer a nice shooting experience.The whole phones is made out of metal, but the antennas are clearly visible and are made of plastic. On the front we could see 2.5D Glas all along with a status LED. The screen will have a 720p resolution because the phone is ment to be a budget phablet.
For the fingerprint, it is a microarray press fingerprint, it offers not only safety to device but also adds practical function. For single tap fingerprint, you can choose it to return to it’s previous interface or to pause and play music or video. If you long press the fingerprint sensor, you can choose to take photo / answer phone call or long press to check your recent list. You can also bind your fingerprint to one specific APP for direct entry in black screen.
