Yesterday we reported that Nubia CEO Ni Fei announced that the company is planning a new flagship Z-series smartphone. Today, renders of the device have appeared on the web, which will reportedly be called the Nubia Z30. According to what can be seen in the filtered render, the smartphone would adopt a very different design than its predecessor.
As is common in many of the more premium flagship phones on the market, it seems that the Nubia Z30 will make use of a screen with curved edges. The back area also has curves on the sides, which helps it have a better grip in hand. We are also shown a side view, showing us how far the curve reaches both the front and the back.
When we move to the front area, the most notable thing is the lack of a hole or a cutout in the screen to integrate its front camera sensor. Taking into account the above, there is the possibility that the phone makes use of a system with the camera hidden under the screen.
Moving on to the rear of the device, it has a photographic configuration made up of four camera sensors arranged in a rectangular module. In the same module, there is an engraving that says that the phone has a maximum zoom mode of up to 100x, just like the Galaxy S21 Ultra. This means that one of the cameras would be a periscope telephoto sensor.
Lastly, the Nubia Z30 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, something that was previously confirmed by Ni Fei himself through his social networks. To conclude, it is not yet known if there will only be one model or if there will also be versions such as Pro, Ultra, or Lite.
