Nokia’s Two Smartphone Batteries Have Been Certified by TUV Rheinland

The Finnish company HMD Global, like many other players in the smartphone market, this year faced difficulties provoked by the pandemic. As a result, the announcement of a number of new products was postponed. The company seems to be preparing the terrain for new 2021 smartphones. Today, Nokia‘s two Smartphone batteries have been certified by TUV Rheinland.

The Nokia WT340 battery has a rated capacity of 4900mAh, a typical value of 5050mAh. Meanwhile, the CN110 battery model has a rated capacity of 4370mAh and a typical value of 4770mAh.

The certification shows that Nokia will launch two smartphones with 5050mAh and 4470mAh battery capacities in the near future. The battery size shouldn’t come as a big surprise as the company tends to launch large battery smartphones. Unfortunately, not much is known about these two upcoming devices, but it can be assumed that they are part of the 2021 Nokia phone lineup.

This year, the Nokia brand did not make much effort in the smartphone market, however, has expanded its presence to different market segments. Currently, there are smartphones, Wi-Fi beacons, audio accessories, TVs, laptops, and Nokia-branded Android StreamBox on the market. Recently, the company revealed its air conditioner in the Indian market with a starting price of about $421.
