NOKIA 6.2 with Punch-Hole Display tipped for June 6 launch

Nokia 6.2

HMD Global’s Nokia mobile has been getting some attention in the media recently. The reason behind this is that the company has two events on the 6th of June in India and Milan. Nokia will conduct these events for the launch of new/existing Nokia phones. Unsure about Milan, but the Nokia 9 PureView and Nokia 1 Plus are contestants for Indian launch on June 6. There are rumors the brand will re-brand the Nokia X71 for its global audience. However, according to certain indications, the new Nokia 6.2 may not actually be a re-branded Nokia X71. It will be a completely different device, though with some similarities.

Punch-Hole Display on the new NOKIA 6.2

“We’ll get to see a variant of the Nokia 6 at the event on June 6th”, tweets Nokia Anew. The device will consist of dual-rear camera setup. Nokia is coming out with a relatively weaker Snapdragon 632 processor instead of the Snapdragon 660. Also, the memory is lesser as Nokia releases the latest model with 4GB of RAM instead of 6GB. And much like the X71, the rumored Nokia 6.2 is said to get a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The highlight rumor is the punch hole display for the selfie camera.

Low-light Mode might arrive

According to Nokia Anew, the new Nokia 6.2 will come with an elegant design. It will arrive with new colors, Zoom, and night mode all for $290. HMD Global earlier this week released a teaser of a Nokia camera feature. It came along with the caption “See things in a new light on 06 June 2019”. Now, this can be a hint towards a dedicated low-light mode similar to Samsung’s Night Mode and Google’s Night-Sight feature.
