New Renderings of Huawei P50 Pro Shows the Giant Circular Camera

Several smartphone vendors have already released their flagship products for the first half of 2021, including the Samsung Galaxy S21, Oppo Find X3, OnePlus 9, and Xiaomi MI 11. Huawei is also expected to launch the P50 series in the near future, with sources saying it will be on April 27. However, recent sources have said it may be further delayed, with the internal tentative date of May or June.

There will be three models of Huawei P50 Series: P50, P50 Pro and P50 Pro Plus. LetsGoDigital has produced a high-definition rendering of Huawei P50 Pro according to the rumors.

According to the report, the P50 Pro will have three cameras — wide-angle, ultra-wide-angle and submersible zoom — and the rendering shows a huge round main camera. Huawei’s P50 Pro is likely to debut with the Sony IMX800 1-inch image sensor. The P40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro are both equipped with the previous generation; Sony IMX700, 1/1.28 inch. Larger image sensors capture more light, making it easier to take high-quality photos, especially in poorly lit conditions that require high ISO Settings. The Sony IMX800 is expected to launch in April.

The Huawei P50 Pro is expected to have a hyperboloid display that is likely to have the same size and resolution as its predecessor: a 6.6-inch OLED display with a QHD+ resolution (2640×1200 pixels), a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and a fingerprint sensor placed below the screen. In addition, the screen bezels will be further reduced.

This time around, Huawei seems to be leaning toward a single-hole camera, located in the middle of the screen. In addition, Huawei P50 Pro 5G is expected to have dual speakers and carry the Kirin 9000 SoC.

It is worth noting that Huawei Vice Chairman and rotating Chairman Ken Hu said yesterday that the future of the mobile phone business is uncertain as the supply situation is not clear, but the planned flagship models will still be launched as planned.
