HTC seeks redemption
There have been insinuations that phone maker HTC could be exiting the phone market soon. However, according to Evan Blass, famed and reliable leakster, the company could be working on a 5G smartphone. The leakster revealed that the company is working on a phone with the model number 2Q6U, though no details were given. Now, barely a month since Blass made that revelation, an HTC phone with the same 2Q6U10000 model number has been spotted on the for the usual Bluetooth certification.
Unfortunately, the listing hasn’t revealed anything significant regarding the features of the smartphone other than the fact it will offer support for Bluetooth v5.0. There’s no word regarding the phone’s marketing name, however, there are speculations it could launch as the HTC U13 given that the firm has yet to release an update to the HTC U12.
