The Lenovo-owned company, Motorola, is reinventing its famous and nostalgic Motorola Razr flip phone. But this time, it is jumping right in the middle of the entire foldable display situation. Motorola has severally been rumored as planning to re-enact that design on its next-gen foldable phone which may bear the same Moto Razr moniker. A video of the Moto RAZR that captures the device from all sides has appeared on China’s Weibo.
Moto Razr – Remastered
According to the leaked video, Motorola’s new Razr will adopt a clamshell design but there won’t be any physical keyboard. Although the phone will be unusually long, it won’t reach the size of a tablet when unfolded. It will also allow you some portability when it is folded. The front screen doesn’t seem to be as meaningful except for previewing selfie frames and displaying notifications. The screen has a resolution of 600 x 800 pixels but the screen size is unknown. Just under the small screen is the selfie camera.
Previous leaks tip the phone to arrive with a 6.2-inch OLED panel with 876 x 2142pixels resolution. The Moto RAZR 2019 will have the Snapdragon 710 SoC under its hood that includes an Octa-core processor that works at 2.2 GHz and Adreno 616 graphics. The smartphone will arrive in two variants. A 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and a 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage.
Motorola Razr will likely arrive with a 2,730mAh battery that may carry support for 27W Turbo-Power charging.
