Lenovo Yoga Tab 13 Gets Certified by the FCC, Ready for Launch

Lenovo Yoga Tab 13 is ready for debut, at least according to its latest FCC certification, which means it could launch soon. Back in March we learned that Lenovo was working on a premium tablet in the Yoga lineup and could launch it soon. Now we learn more details.

The Lenovo device is categorized as “Portable Tablet Computer” and it comes with model number YT-K606F, listed in the FCC database. This model number has already appeared on the Google Play Console listing and revealed that we’re dealing with the Yoga Tab 13. It’ll have support for WiFi 6 5 GHz, Bluetooth LE connectivity and more. A label inside the FCC report also shows that the product is made by Lenovo in China. Attached diagrams show the Power button, volume buttons on the right.

Lenovo launched its newest Yoga tablet, the Lenovo Yoga Smart Tab back in September 2019, with an entry level Snapdragon 439 processor inside. We definitely need a higher end CPU now. Word on the street is that the newcomer has a Snapdragon 855 processor inside, also confirmed by a GeekBench 5 listing, with 8 GB of RAM. The product runs on Android 11 most likely, with some tweaks to the UI. The 2019 Yoga Smart Tab had a 10.1 inch Full HD screen, but knowing the Yoga brand as we do, we expect quad speakers with Dolby or some other major partner, plus Quad HD screen which grows to a 13 inch diagonal.
