Lenovo is bringing a new tablet to India, the Lenovo Tab M9 model, which is a budget one. We’re dealing with a 9 inch slate, that will go on sale in India on June 1st. It features a dual tone design, with Lenovo branding on the right side and a single camera at the top left corner.
It also measures 7.99 mm in thickness and weighs 344 grams. Its back panel is made from metal, which brings a more premium feel to the device. Upfront we find a 9 inch IPS LCd display with a 1340 x 800 pixel resolution. It provides 400 nits of peak brightness and one drawback I can see right away are the big bezels around the panel, on all four sides.
Inside there’s a MediaTek Helio G80 processor, together with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. There’s also a main 8 megapixel camera with autofocus, while upfront we find a 2 megapixel selfie cam. The 5100 mAh battery powers the device, with support for 10W charging. There’s also a microSD card slot on board, Bluetooth 5.1 and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
The product will go on sale on June 1st priced at 12.999 INR, which is just $157. It will come in a 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage version and it will have both a WiFi version and a 4G one. It will be sold in Frost Blue on Amazon and Flipkart.
