5G is the theme at this year’s edition of MWC Shanghai. Today, Lenovo announced the world’s first 5G laptop as well as the Lenovo Z6 Pro 5G Explorer Edition.

This is the world’s first 5G laptop. It comprises of the Snapdragon 8cx processor which clocks at 2.75GHz. The rest of the specs are not mentioned which isn’t surprising as it appears the company just wants to show that 5G will also be coming to laptops in the
Lenovo Z6 Pro 5G Explorer Edition
The Lenovo Z6 Pro 5G Explorer Edition comes with Snapdragon 855 processor and has a Snapdragon X50 Modem. It keeps its 6.39-inch AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch and packs a 4000mAh battery just like the standard Z6 Pro. In a nutshell, only the components needed for 5G differentiates it from the LTE version. However, there is a 5G logo beside the rear cameras.
