Huawei Y9 Prime (2019) launched silently with Pop Up Camera


Huawei has launched its latest smartphone model in the company’s Y-series. The new smartphone is dubbed as Huawei Y9 Prime (2019).

It’s 2019 and the users primarily care about how the phone looks in its appearance. The Huawei Y9 Prime (2019) plans on becoming a public favorite for that matter. It features a dual-tone rear panel. It has a big 6.59-inch FHD+ notchless display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The new Huawei is powered by the company’s Kirin 710 octa-core chipset paired with Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage.



Recently, different companies have really uplifted camera standards for a regular smartphone. Huawei is currently the world’s best smartphone camera company. Following the reputation, the smartphone’s highlight is the selfie camera that comes within a slider mechanism. The elevating camera has a 16MP lens which takes only a second to pop-up. On the rear, it has a triple camera setup consisting of a 16MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a secondary 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP sensor for depth sensing.

The handset runs on EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9 Pie and has a 4,000 mAh battery that charges through a USB Type-C port. There is a rear fingerprint sensor for security. The device measures 77.3 x 163.5 x 8.8 mm and weighs 196.8 grams.

The Huawei Y9 Prime (2019) will be available in three color options: Sapphire Blue, Midnight Black, and Emerald Green.
