Not long ago, on the 3rd of October, Huawei presented the Huawei Mate 9 and the Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design in Munich, Europe. Today, China had it´s own launch event, where they not only unveiled these two, but also, exclusively for china, launched the long rumored Huawei Mate 9 Pro.
The Mate 9 Pro basically is a Mate 9 Porsche Design, without the Porsche Design, which cuts the price almost in half. While the Porsche Design will only be sold as a limited edition and only in Porsche Design stores for special customers, the Mate 9 Pro is a smartphone for the normal consumer.
The flaggship phone comes with a 5.5 inch curved display and a 2K resolution in contrast to the 1080p screen on the standard version. Another difference is the front facing fingerprint sensor and has either 4 GB Ram and 64 GB Rom or 6 GB Ram and 128 GB Rom.
Going on sale today, the 4 GB Version will cost 4699 Yuan (est. 687$) and the 6 GB Version 8999 Yuan (est. 1316$). If you are interested in buying the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, it shouldn’t take long for online shops to offer it for import.
