Today Huawei announced a new smart fitness tracker, called Huawei Fit, along with its long awaited flagship, the Huawei Mate 9.
The Huawei Fit is equipped with a monochrome display with a silver or grey metal finish and a very simple watchlike design. The rubber band is swappable availabe in the three colours black, orange and blue.
It comes with a pedometer, calorie counter, sleep monitor and a heart rate sensor on the bottom, which you can use to measure your heart rate, but also supports the sleep monitoring for a more accurate result. Unfortunately, GPS is missing. In addition to all this, it also has an IP68 certification, which makes it waterproof.
Besides that it also displays notifications, phone calls and messages after pairing it via bluetooth with your smartphone. The Huawei Fit can sync its data with the Huwei Wear App to view your past records. Using the App, you can also play with some settings.
If you plan to work on your running endurance, the fitness tracker includes a training guide for 5 Km, 19 Km, half marathon and full maraton runs.
According to Huawei, the battery, which is fully charged up within 2 hours, lasts up to 6 days, if you wear it around your wrist, but in standby mode up to 30 days.
The Huawei Fit costs 130 Euro and, according to Huawei, will go on sale this november. While the price may be a little high, because of it´s nice and simple and watchlike design I´m quite interested in the new Huawei Fit, but what do you think of the new Huawei Fit?
