The EMUI 9.1 update is finally arriving at a handful of Huawei and Honor devices. These devices include both smartphones and tablet devices. The list with a total of 49 devices is inclusive of both Huawei and Honor smartphones. Furthermore, the MediaPad tablets should be getting the latest EMUI 9.1 update in no distant time, though no time frame has been given for the rollout.

Huawei P30 series & Mate 20 Series

Huawei’s latest ground-breaking flagship, the P30 series launched with EMUI 9.1 pre-installed on top of Android Pie. Now, considering the latest update the Mate 20 series (Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 X, and Mate 20 Porsche Design edition) will be the first category of devices eligible for the EMUI 9.1. You will recall that the Chinese firm already started rolling out the stable update for the Mate 20 Pro and the Mate 20 X (AL00) and all devices under the series after a Beta test of same in China.

Other Models

Furthermore, the following models are also getting the official update:
• Huawei Mate 9 and Mate 10 series,
• P10 and P20 series,
• Nova 2s, Nova 3, Nova 3i, Nova 4,
• Honor 8A, Honor 8X, Honor 7, Honor 10, Honor V10,
These models and others are also billed to receive the EMUI 9.1 Closed Beta for internal testing.

Tablet Devices
Lastly, there are a number of tablet devices that will be getting the update too. The tablet devices receiving the EMUI 9.1 update are:
• MediaPad M5 Lite (10.1 inches),
• MediaPad M5 Lite (8.0 inches),
• MediaPad M5 (10.3 inches),
• Honor Tab 5, and a few other tablets.

Other devices such as the Huawei Nova 4e, Nova 3e, Enjoy 9 Plus, Enjoy 8 Plus, Enjoy Max, Enjoy 9s, Enjoy 7s, Enjoy 9e, Honor 9 Lite, Honor 8X Max, Honor 20i, Honor 9i, and the Honor Play are also in the extended list.

Huawei hasn’t revealed the exact time frame when these devices will receive the update, but given that the Mate 20 series already received the update, the next category of devices should receive the update sooner than later.
