    English Video Unboxing & Review

Android 7.0 Nougat is now officially out on some few china smartphones! (budget models). One of them is the Vernee Mars where you now can download the firmware over the air (OTA). This is my full unboxing and quick review of the Vernee Mars with Split-Screen Mode!

    PROS / GOOD:
+ Beautiful and very thin metal design
+ Android 7.0 over OTA that runs good + Split-Screen Mode!
+ Side fingerprint scanner (Good with Android 7.0)
    + Notification LED (multicolour)
    + Thin bezels
+ Gorilla Glass 3 with 2.5D curved edge
    + 10 point multi touch

    CONS / BAD:
    - None removable backcover + battery
    - Hybrid SIM/SD card tray
    - Higher priced than the Vernee Apollo Lite
    - Camera not so good in low light
    - Screen brightness could be higher
    - The Helio P10 SoC less powerful than the X20
    - Gyroscope doesn't yet work with Android 7.0
    - Not recommended for heavy 3D games, runs only "good"

Some few bugs in this Android 7 are: When placing new icons/apps on the homescreen from the app drawer it will not show the homescreen behind, so you just have to place them blindly. The flash does work, but sometimes when using the camera, it activates the flash too early (does only happen sometimes). The Gyroscope doesn't seem to work correct, the sensor/hardware is there but something is not right.

With 3D games the phone doesn't get hotter than max 32 degree Celsius.
Fast charging: In 30 minutes it charges from 0-44% or in 60 minutes up to 86%

    Main features & highligts:
    - 5.5" In-Cell Ultra-thin bezel screen 1920x1080 pixels
    - 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3
    - Metal unibody design
    - Helio P10 MTK6755 2.0GHz Octa Core
    - GPU: Mali-T860 MP2 700MHz
    - Side fingerprint scanner / Touch ID
    - Notification LED (multicoloured)
    - USB Type-C & Fast Charger
    - USB OTG (On-The-Go) support
    - 3000mAh built-in battery
    - 4GB RAM + 32GB ROM, Supports TF card up to 128GB
    - Cameras: 13 MP Sony IMX258 Main + Dual Flash + 5 MP Front
    - Android 7.0 OS (Updates from OTA)
    - Split Screen Mode / Multiwindow multitasking
    - 10 point multitouch FHD screen
    - Dual SIM: Micro SIM+NANO SIM / TF card
    - Supports 2G & 3G & 4G LTE Network
    - 2G: GSM 850/900/1800MHz
    - 3G: WCDMA 900/2100MHz
    - 4G: FDD-LTE 800/1800/2100/2600MHz
