Apple’s iPad lineup has made significant improvements since its first release. Since Apple unusually values its customers, the greater the iPad upgrade, the better the discounts they provide. Apparently, ranging from last year’s entry-level 9.7-inch model that’s technically yet to be upgraded to the discontinued 10.5-inch iPad Pro and 7.9-inch iPad mini 4 and even that brand-new iPad Air/mini duo.
Although the newer iPad version is still months away, Apple’s latest iPad Pro variants have been available at incredibly affordable prices several times over the past few months from some reputable retailers. Best Buy is once again marking down the 2018-released models featuring the 11 and 12.9-inch variants.
For those of you who still haven’t laid their hands on an iPad yet, this might be the best time to do so. Best Buy is offering the 64GB configurations of the iPad Pro 11 and iPad Pro 12.9 (2018) at $699.99 and $874.99 respectively. The prices have recorded a significant discount as compared to their list prices of $800 and $1,000. Assuming that you are the kind of person who would consider buying more memory for a relatively increased price, the 512 GB versions might suit you better. The models as mentioned above are priced at $1,1499.99 and $1,549.99 respectively.
Meanwhile, a slightly lower but still generous $150 cut brings the 11-inch iPad Pro down to a price of $999.99 in a 512GB SKU and $1,399.99 with 1TB local digital hoarding room. Finally, your “middling” 256 gig variants of these 11 and 12.9-inch powerhouses can be purchased for $125 and $150 less than usual. Namely, $824.99 and $999.99 instead of $950 and $1,150.
Apple’s iPad Pro or Microsoft’s Surface Pro? You decide.
In the bigger picture, Apple’s iPad Pro might not be as powerful as Microsoft’s latest Surface Pro in terms of its capabilities. But these discounted prices surely have made it one of the better deals. The iPad Pro featuring insanely thin bezels and Face ID technology, along with the optimized Apple A12X Bionic processor is an absolute steal at its price.
