Coolpad has launched the Cool S, a rear-facing four-camera phone with a Samsung GM1 sensor, which costs about 1,245 yuan, $191.
This week in Nepal, Coolpad launched a mid-range model, Coolpad Cool, which is powered by MediaTek’s Xiri P60 chip. Coolpad Cool has a rear rectangular quad-camera, including a Samsung GM1 sensor, and a front-facing 25MP perforated camera. The price in Nepal is 22,595 Nepalese rupees, or about 1,245 yuan.
The Coolpad Cool S has a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage and support for scaling up to 256GB via a microSD card.
On the imaging side, the phone features a 48MP main camera, a Samsung GM1 sensor and an f/1.8 four-shot design, including an 8MP ultra-wide lens with 120 FOV f/2.0 aperture, a 5MP wide-angle lens and a 0.3MP depth-of-field camera. The front is a 25MP lens.

Coolpad Cool S has a built-in 5,000mAh battery and supports a 10W fast charge running Android 10 based operating system. It supports 4G Volte, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, Ghonass, etc., dual SIM card slot, retains 3.5mm headphone jack and USB-C port.
