Casio G-Shock Smartwatch Officially Released with 200 meter-Waterproof

Casio recently announced the launch of the GSW-H1000, the first smartwatch in its G-Shock series. Casio’s G-Shock series of electronic watches are selling well all over the world and have a large number of loyal users. With the increasing popularity of smart watches, Casio has finally chosen to enter the smart watch industry.

The Casio GSW-H1000 is equipped with the more common WEAR OS, formerly known as Android Wear. The original version of WEAR OS was announced on March 19, 2014 and is available for downloading. Wear OS, which can be seen as a spinoff of Android, is Google’s operating system for wearable devices such as smartwatches.

The GSW-H1000 smartwatch is now available for pre-sale in the United States, Europe and other countries, and is expected to go on sale in mid-May. It will retail for $699 in the US and £599 in the UK and is available in red, black or blue. According to Casio, GSW-H1000 smartwatch has water resistance and pressure resistance up to 200 meters deep. It is a smart wearable device with a focus on fitness and it can be used in surfing, skiing, running, basketball, swimming and other sports scenarios.

The Casio GSW-H1000 is also the first color screen electronic watch in the G-Shock series. The back adopts a traditional tough style and the casing is made of titanium for excellent durability. In terms of battery life, the official propaganda is that it can last for 1.5 days after starting the color screen mode, and it can last for about 1 month if only using the clock mode.
