After the Zenfone branding case in India, Asus has to make primitive measures to grow its lost importance. In this regard, the company has announced that it will rebadge the ZenFone 6 as Asus 6Z in India. It’s a good move considering the next hearing for the case is on July 10. If the company would wait that long, it could lose ground and sales time before the launch of the Redmi K20 Pro. The Asus 6Z is launching on June 19.
Rebranding Zenfone
This news of rebranding the latest device isn’t new though. The tech world has a prompt news delivery system that keeps everyone in the loop. Although the company has stripped the keyword off from the product, the flagship will still offer the same. It remains to be seen whether the branding will stay for other popular mid-range products from the company such as the ZenFone Max Pro M3.
Specifications
The handset comes with a camera module that swivels 180 degrees. As a result, it has a primary camera that functions as both front and back camera. Additionally, this design allows the smartphone to deliver a full-screen seamless display. The screen is 6.4-inches Full-HD+ protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. Other key highlights of the product include a Snapdragon 855 SoC, 5,000mAh battery, and of course the 48MP shooter that will also take selfies.
